A Pandemic Theatre and b current performing arts Co-Production with the support of Theatre Passe Muraille.

Written & Performed by: Jivesh Parasram
Directed by: Tom Arthur Davis
Dramaturgy by: Graham Isador

"This is the story of how I once birthed a cow...kinda..." Jivesh is Canadian. And Indian. And Hindu. And West Indian. Trinidadian too. Or maybe hes just colonized. In Take d Milk, Nah? Parasram blends personal storytelling and ritual to walk an audience through the Hin-dos and Hin-donts at the intersections of these cultures. The show is a refreshingly candid and delightfully funny look at race, religion and nationalism(s): What divides us and what were willing to accept in the desire to belong. Oh, and there's a cow.

Tickets are available through this website until 4 hours prior to performance when they will be made available solely at the Theatre Passe Muraille Box Office. To find out more information, please call

Krapp's Last Tape | Extended Run

Produced by Singing Swan Productions with support from Theatre Passe Muraille & Wily Pig.

Written by: Samuel Beckett
Performed by: Bob Nasmith

On his 69th birthday Krapp enters into a dark room and sits quietly. After some time he eats a banana and listens to tapes on a reel-to-reel recorder. The tapes document stories from his past and Krapp is forced to examine moments of lost love, wasted ambition, and mortality. Krapps Last Tape highlights the best of Beckett, showcasing his signature blend of dark humor and existential musing. Performed by iconic Canadian actor Bob Nasmith (Video Cabaret) the show is a stark examination of life compared to living.

Theatre Beyond Walls with Paul Thompson
A film by Rachel Thompson

A lovingly made film about Paul Thompson by his daughter Rachel.

THEATRE BEYOND WALLS tells the incredible story of a man, Paul Thompson, and a theatre that provoked a cultural movement. The 1970s were a time of exciting change in Canada and it seemed fitting that Canadian anglophones, with a reputation as being reserved, would follow. But how? Interviews and stunning archival footage bring these extraordinary trailblazing theatrical accomplishments to life.

Tickets are available through this website until 4 hours prior to performance when they will be made available solely at the Theatre Passe Muraille Box Office. To find out more information, please call

ARTS BOX OFFICE at 416.504.7529.

2018 is Theatre Passe Murailles 50th Anniversary and there is much to celebrate. Preparing for this big occasion we are launching the Dollar A Week Campaign.

We want to raise $100,000 before 2018. This ambition is inspired by TPMs 50th Anniversary coming up in 2018. Asking the equivalent of A Dollar A Week ($52 per year) from you to recognize our 50 years of developing new work seems like a perfect fit.

Learn about more ways to support TPM, please email Lada Darewych at ladad (at) passemuraille.on.ca or call 416-504-8988 x2133
